Alex D. Novak
The Principal and founder of the A. D. Novak Company, Mr. Novak's experience in training and management consulting began in 1976 designing instructional interventions for a major tropical house plant producer in Central Florida. Since then he has acquired broad industry exposure that includes finance, insurance, big 5 consulting, healthcare, furniture, electronics, and heavy manufacturing.
He has managed/participated in needs analyses, curriculum design, course design, and course development. He has extensive experience in planning and forecasting, process redesign, problem solving facilitation, and implementation of performance improvement systems. His international consulting experience includes work in the US, England, and Brazil.

As a manager with Arthur Andersen's international training center near Chicago, Mr. Novak was responsible for: developing the initial curriculum plan for Andersen Consulting's Change Management program; developing the training support for the South American Tax Practice's Continuing Tax Services; and developing numerous US Tax Practice training and performance improvement interventions.
David N. Buck
With his extensive knowledge of business operations, acquired through nearly two decades of operations experience, Mr. Buck is an extremely valuable contributor to performance improvement initiatives. That experience includes financial projects, where he evaluated operations, costs, procedures, and controls, and directed workgroups. He additionally has a decade of experience in learning-centered roles, including college professor and designer and presenter of instruction for business professionals.
Mr. Buck has keen analytical abilities and is very talented in assessing needs, examining work flows, and redesigning processes and procedures. He attributes his skill to his many years spent in searches for cost-cutting measures, analyzing a wide spectrum of business functions in retailing, engineering, warehousing and manufacturing industries.
As a project manager, he has guided teams numbering as many as 12 - recruiting, training, setting standards, juggling schedules, and controlling up to a half-million dollars per project. Clients attribute his success to his ability to focus on detail.

Mr. Buck has post-graduate credits in Business Management, earned at Pace University. His B.A. in Journalism was earned at the University of Pittsburgh and his M.B.A. in Accounting was earned at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Mr. Buck also is a CPA, past Chair of NJSCPA committees, and Past-President of the local chapter of International Society for Performance Improvement. He has published articles in various professional journals and designed, developed, and scripted a major training film for the Institute of Internal Auditors.
Mr. Meraviglia's experience spans two decades in information technology, training, education, and business consulting.
He was MIS Manager with VR Information Systems, a leading developer of software used in the design of computer chips.
During his six years in the US Air Force, Mr. Meraviglia acted as Computer Engineering Officer and Director of IT, managing 14 software developer type personnel, software development, documentation, and training. He also oversaw acquisition of software and hardware. For three of the six years he held "Additional Duties" as CFO.
At the Allen-Bradley Company, Mr. Meraviglia was a national IT Consultant responsible for sales, support, and implementation of bar coding and RF technologies.
Mr. Meraviglia spent three years as Adjunct Professor of Computer Science at Utah State University where he taught structured programming languages (PASCAL and C), software documentation, data structure, and relational data base design.
Mr. Meraviglia received a BSE in Computer Science from Tulane University, New Orleans. He also received an ME in Industrial Engineering and an MED in Instructional Systems Design from the Pennsylvania State University.
Nadya A. Perry is an experienced training and curriculum consultant specializing in the design, development and delivery of self-study and instructor-led programs on financial topics and information technology. Recent projects include the following:
- Designed and developed a CBT program, Introduction to the Health Care Industry, for financial accountants and auditors. Presented in eight, one-hour modules, this program includes a comprehensive end-of-course multiple choice test.
- Developed a curriculum for experienced insurance agents who want to sell in specialized markets (i.e., estate planning). Conducted research with field personnel and assessments of internal and external courses. Designed a competency self-assessment instrument and on-the-job mentoring process. Consulted on the development of the implementation plan. Assisted with the development of the implementation guide and the implementation and coaching workshops.
Prior to entering the consulting field, Nadya worked as Director of Educational R&D for Coopers & Lybrand where she developed curricula and numerous programs for accounting and auditing professionals and various specialists. She was also the Senior Manager in Continuing Education at Deloitte & Touche where she oversaw the development and delivery of training programs for the firm's accounting and auditing professionals.
Her experience includes teaching courses on technical and information technology topics, as well as on delegation and supervision. She has also designed and developed videos and computer-based training programs.
In addition, Nadya was an auditor with Deloitte Haskins & Sells for approximately 8 years where she provided a wide range of services to a diverse group of domestic and foreign, public and private companies. Her industry experience includes: banking, mortgage banking, insurance, bond funds, fragrance and cosmetics, apparel, hotels and food services, cooperative sales agents and buying concerns, Japanese trading companies.
Nadya obtained her MBA in professional accounting at Rutgers University Graduate School of Management in 1979 and her CPA license shortly thereafter. She is a graduate of City College, CUNY, where she studied Russian and mathematics.
With more than a decade's experience in training and instructional design, Kristan's capabilities include needs analysis, course design and development, instructional presentation, program evaluation, and Inter / Intranet applications and research.
She has designed and developed training courseware for complex mainframe systems with both terminal and PC interfaces. Kristan has managed training functions at the Jacob J. Javits Convention Center, the Hispanic Information & Telecommunications Network, and Ryan Divers, Inc. & Johnson's Sporting Goods.
Her extensive technical platform skills include software / computer instruction with the Career Training Center, New York University Department of Administration, Pace University Computer Science Department, and LaGuardia Community College Office of Technology.
Kristan's background includes experience in mining as a fire and chemical assayer for the Sunshine Silver Mine. While there, she also worked with a surface building crew and operated bulldozers.
At the San Xavier Mine run by the University of Arizona, Kristan worked as a driller / blaster and laborer where she managed a blasting crew, drilled out rounds, set charges and laid track.

Using her skills in instructional design, instructional game programming, and content analysis and development, Elizabeth McCraven specializes in web site development. She has several years of hands-on experience in managing and developing instructional and informational web projects. She also designs, programs, and develops content for multimedia CD-ROMS.
Typical projects include:
- Co-designed and developed a corporate School of Business web site. Re-purposed CD-ROM based marketing materials for use on-line.
- Co-designed and developed a frames-based Strategy web-site with sole responsibility for development of a text-based alternative web site.
- Co-produced a business Performance Management web site with responsibilities including: HTML page creation, JavaScripting, and revising Java-based scenario programs.
- Consulted on a corporate School of Business web site for design and constructive feedback, and conducted in-depth user testing.
- Co-created an interactive learning web site on Telecommunications Basics. Responsibilities included all Shockwave, JavaScript, and VBscript programming.
Elizabeth received her Masters in Information Design and Technology from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a BA in Anthropology from Rhodes College in Memphis.
